The two designers of CHARM NYC are the husband and wife team of Ume and
Nick Taylor. Ume learned her designing skill at Bunka Fashion Institute
in Tokyo, Japan. Nick on the other hand has been an artist and
musician since the early 80's New York City.
With the strength of Ume's design experience and the talent of Nick's creativity, the two have developed
their line.
One of their principles is to make their hat products with "Made in
New York City" in mind. They believe quality is important and they
support local businesses when selecting their materials. Ume and Nick wish
to provide the consumer with original designs. They put a strong emphasis
on detail and craftsmanship. Their items are consistently creative in nature
and enhance the style and form of their clientel.
